Outline for the Second Term Paper
Introduction:
Introducing "Kung Fu Hustle", "Street Fighter", "Kung Fu Dunk".
Thesis: These movies and video game (Street Fighter) all deny the law of gravity on the characters to create dramatic actions.
Body:
1."Kung Fu Hustle":
During the epic fight near the end of the movie, law of gravity is almost completely ignored when the axe gang member is blasted away so far and so high as if there's no gravity there to pull them down.
In this scene, Sing also leaps into the air super high (above the cloud high) and then hangs up there a bit to prepare for the ultimate strike. That is both humanly and physically impossible.
2."Street Fighter":
In this game, character jump awkwardly high and even perform super complex moves while in the air. If it was done physically right, the law of gravity should deny both of those capabilities.
3."Kungfu Dunk":
Characters jump quick, high, and very very far to deliver their slam dunks. Again, this is not possible in real life with a working gravity. For example, the best NBA players right now like Lebron James and Derrick Rose can't even jump like that.
Conclusion:
Law of Gravity is intentionally broken in these movies and video game to maximize the entertainment value. However, that is acceptable because it brings the audience or gamers what they are looking for- fun.

Stop-Motion Character Animation
http://youtu.be/9mtdz_ZsuDs
So this time I used two monkeys for my characters and my set ups were cut-outs from images I found online. My inspiration for the the whole thing was "South Park" because that's the first stop motion animation that comes to my mind all the time. I think the images I took for the walk were decent but I was having some issue slowing down the frame rate here and there with my stop motion software. I think the story reads fairly well but some of the walks were a bit too fast. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun making this. I named this " "Lazy Monkeys" !!!
